It is believed that Oranges were originated in China and Japan. Arabs brought sour lime and orange trees to Andalucia (Spain), but they were used only in gardens for decoration because of their beauty and fragrance.
In Yucatan, oranges harvest during autumn and winter, nevertheless, they are available throughout the year. This fruit, containing vitamins A, B1, B2 and C, is also rich in mineral salts such as potassium, calcium and Phosphorus.
